Do you recognize these stones. They are very much like those famous speckled glass tones that were used by DeLizza and Elster. You know, the ones that became known as "Easter Egg" stones.
This brooch signed Cathé. Cathé is one of those signatures that you do come across from time to time, but not a whole lot is known. Some of the jewelry we have found with this hallmark is on the plain side. You can't say that about this eye-catching brooch.
The pale rose or mauve pastel navettes radiate toward the central stone in two layers. The speckles are in green, yellow, blue and white, Note the way that the ABs show the same colors.

The reverse looks very much like the reverse of a Judy Lee or Beau Jewels piece with its rivet construction and pin assembly.
