William DeLillo founded was called House of DeLillo and his partner was Robert Clark who had just left Miriam Haskell where he was also the chief designer. The company was not in business for very long so the output was limited. DeLillo did not really "mass produce" jewelry. Most was exclusive or made for a private client. This means there is less jewelry with this makers mark out there to be found!
DeLillo costume jewelry is also known for it's large size and the quality of the materials. The designs are always intriguing as in this large black and white glass piece. Notice the alternating pear shaped stones. Some are placed with the points outward while others are facing the opposite direction. DeLillo costume jewelry is considered to be wearable art. I whole heartedly agree!
