Vintage Florenza Demi- parure
Florenza is a favorite of mine because of their well made antique look and elaborately designed pieces. I also love their delightful vanity items!
Dan Kasoff began the company in the 1930s. The pieces were signed beginning in the late 1940s.
This set can be seen in the second edition of Collecting Costume Jewelry 101, by Julia Carroll on page 173. She features the earrings as well.
The metal is gold- tone with the antique finish that the company is known for. The rhinestones are pastel in color and spring green, perfect for the warmer months. The faux pearls are creme in color.
