Vintage Signed Crown Trifari 1940s Sterling Ribbon Brooch

What more can be said about one of the most prolific costume jewelry companies that has not already been said! They were second in size only to Coro.

We love their work, especially the 1940s WWII years sterling pieces. We also love the early pieces that were meant to look like the real thing. Like many, jewels produced by this company were amongst the first I became familiar with. All these years later, I am still finding pieces I have never owned!

This sterling silver brooch has a gold-vermeil finish. Note how the ends of the ribbon sparkle with clear rhinestones. This is a familiar technique used by Trifari. Many of their pieces are finished this way. The red cabochons are glass. Bright and rich blue chatons are used as accents.
