I love this time of year, when you can still wear yellows and corals and you can begin to broaden into richer autumn colors. To be honest, it is hard to believe that in some parts of this fine country, school began weeks ago! Where did the summer go?
This three piece set can be worn now and well beyond. The metal is gold-tone with a high quality finish. As you can see, along with the amber/topaz colored rhinestones, pastel aurora borealis rhinestones are also used. The stones are all prong set.

For over 40 years the Weiss hallmark has been associated with the very best of costume jewelry. Their pieces were mostly produced by others such as Delizza and Elster. These gems are highly collectable and as such, they are often copied by unscrupulous types.
The best tip I ever heard regarding the fakes is to look at the finish on the reverse. Weiss pieces usually had a smooth finish, as seen on better jewels. The fakes do not. The fakes also lack the attention to detail and weight as found when examining the real thing. Also, if one were trying to mass produce fakes, they most likely would choose the easier pieces like brooches without prongs to produce! They would be less costly and if greed is your motive, this counts! It is a shame to have to mention such things as knockoff costume jewelry, however it does exist and I would feel remiss if I did not!
This set is authentic through and through. The finish is of the highest quality as are the sparkling rhinestones. Having the earrings and the necklace plus the bracelet gives the wearer several options including wearing all three for a dazzling look!
