Amazing Adornments Jewel of the Month

Maison Gripoix for Chanel Poured Glass Clover Pendant Necklace

The Maison Gripoix, Paris has been in business for at least one hundred years. Work for
Chanel
began in the 1920s. Gripoix along with Robert Goossens and Desrues started the "Chanel" style in costume jewelry. The Gripoix House was reasonable for introducing the faux pearls with so much shimmer they looked real to Chanel. The house made jewelry for couture as well as ready to wear. A trend toward this started when other couture designers began making costume jewelry
for ready to wear. Some other designers that used this house were/are: Yves St. Laurent, Fath,
Dior
, Marc Jacobs and more.

This necklace was made in France. It is not only fabulous and rich looking, it is versatile. The clear poured glass picks up what ever color it is lying against. The chain is thick, long and closes with a toggle clasp. You will wan tot wear this one everyday! This piece is fully hallmarked and it is contemporary.
