Stanley Hagler Knockout Crystal Fringe Necklace and Earring Set
This set is even more magnificent in person. Surely this was a runway piece. The necklace is large and very heavy. All that glass!! When on. it nearly covers the entire shoulder area. WOW! It is
almost as if it were the collar of a dress or blouse! It drapes in a sensual "U" and the glass fringe dangles fall nicely one behind the other. We tried to photograph this on a jewelry model, but it is massive and dwarfed all of them!
Stanley Hagler was known for some very dramatic pieces, many with delicate wired components similar to those of Miriam Haskell. The fabulous clasp and earrings certainly have the Haskell look.
The clear section that would sit closet to the neck is a series of sewn together crystals. The crystals are in shades of blue and clear. The last crystal in each dangle is finished with a small crystal. The earrings are the clip- on type and they incorporate the crystal colors of the bib. All of the beads, rhinestones and other elements are wired to a filigree backing.
Wear this one to any party or pageant and you will be unforgettable, head turning and totally unique.
