Amazing Adornments Find of the Week

Christian Dior by Kramer Ruby and Clear Rhinestone Trembler
Flower Pin

This is a lovely mechanical piece. As the name indicates mechanical pieces move in some way. Some have petals that move or bend like this Les Bernard. Others have pieces that tremble or jiggle. Here is a DeNicola bug pin with moveable wings. Many are well known such as this unsigned Coro Quivering Camellia. It doesn't matter if the piece is a cart or wagon with
moveable wheels, or a rhinestone frog with moveable legs, they are all beloved collectors items. More Mechanicals.

This gorgeous floral pin is featured in the book The Great
Pretenders on page 17. In the book it is shown with a full parure in clear. A caption states that the clear parure was shown at Christian Dior's
first USA fashion show way back in 1948! We are not certain this piece is that old, However it certainly has the style of the late forties early 1950s.

The flower head is on a rod that moves like a spring. This allows the flower head to bobble. It is the sweetest thing and so well made. The pavé set clear
stones are perfectly placed almost as if dew on a real flower. The ruby colored chaton at the center adds pizzazz. It is prong set.

Although florals usually denote spring and summer we think it would make a great piece to wear this holiday season!
