You either like their jewelry
or you don’t, however it cannot be ignored. In 1982 Zander Elliott and Esme
Hecht began creating what I like to call “Anti- fashion jewelry”. This pair of
parrot earrings is a great example of their concept. I am not sure they intended
for their look to become fashionable, but it has. All of the colorful elements
were made at their workshop/factory. The earrings have been hand painted with
each color individually fired. Swarovski crystals are also used. The metal is
24k gold electroplated. The hallmark appears under the clip. |
