Amazing Adornments Find of the
Week

McClelland Barclay Art Deco Sapphire Rhinestone Brooch

This fabulously architectural brooch is signed by the esteemed McClelland Barclay. Step cut open back sapphire blue crystals are set end to end across the center of the plaque with one set at each corner. Two small baguettes and clear pavé set stones complete the top portion. The top portion is set in rhodium plated base metal. The gold- tone frame at the bottom is rectangular in shape with chamfered corners.


McClelland Barclay sadly died during WWII. Rice- Weiner, the makers of jewelry for Korda and
Barclay also made jewelry for McClelland Barclay. The hallmark is stamped into the metal
on the reverse.
