Alice Caviness Sterling and Moonstone Necklace
Isn't this lovely? Sometimes these feminine sterling pieces by Alice Caviness are found also marked Germany. This one is not. You can find dainty, yet well made pins, bracelets, earrings, some with stones and some filigree only in similar styles.
We picked this as our "find of the week" for several reasons. First, the moonstones really appear to glow. We loved the marquise cut of the stone in relation to the sterling filigree half moon element below them. The entire look is elegant with presence.
Alice Caviness vintage costume jewelry is always well made. The themes varied from gorgeous rhinestone and glass, enamel figurals to gold over sterling and marcasite jewelry.
